What Goes Around....

All that effort getting rid of that Trapple on the bus home and what do we have for dinner? The single biggest Trapple I've ever seen. Is it impressive? you bet....but yikes, talk about a coincidence.

First To The Table

Skimming over the grass back home, I wanted to step up the speed to make it to the table before dinner is served.

Dinner Call

Nothing gets my attention more when i'm out playing in the yard than the call for dinnertime.

After-School Stories

Telling dad all about my day is such a great part of the day. He's always super interested in what i've been up to at school and hearing about all the things that have changed since he was a little sprout.

Hometime Surprise

What a great surprise! Dad is normally still away at work when I get home, but he left work early today to make sure he was home when I got off the bus.

Look Out Below!

Theres no better excuse to use your wings, than when the bus flys over your neighborhood and you have to jump because one of its legs are sore and it doesn't want to land.

Whoops!

Just before I get home, I "accidentally" misplaced my trapple. I ate all of the other snacks mom put in my bag, but unfortunatly, I never found this non sugary snack. 'wink'

Homework Hauling

GRRRRR! It sure is confusing how I look forward to going home at the end of each school day...but always seem to forget about how much homework I have to do.

Look Out Below!

When the call came to head back into school before the weekend, first I was going to climb down the tree, then, fly (as best I could) but then decided to just jump. That was a loooong way down.

New Recess Trees

There were actually seven new trees planted in in the schools play area. FANTASTIC! I love these ones because they are really high compared to the ones by the waterfall. Yelki and I met outside at recess and scrambled up the highest tree, then tried to get from the top of one to all the rest without touching the ground. Sooo much fun.

Clock Watching

Even though I like Mr. Goova's class, I can't help but wait for the break for recess. The new yard keepers planted a new really high climbing tree and Ylke and I want to be the first ones to get all the way to the top.

Mystery Lunch...Hmmm...

Today at lunch, the school "special" was a big jiggly, wiggly, mound of some sort of gooie...um....stuff. I'm not completely sure I should be eating this but its either this or an empty stomach and the last time my I skipped lunch, my stomach growled so loud that I scared Marpo, my desk buddy. She almost ran out of the room....although she always has been a bit of a startlepup.

Stomping Ground

The only problem with having these early morning monstro-ball matches, is that the fog is still pretty thick outside and I can never see the bigger players coming.

School Time...Snooze Time

I don't know what it is...but everytime i'm at school and they lower the lights for special presentations, I can't help but fall asleep. Especially first thing in the morning.

Biiiig Bus Buddy

When I finally got on the bus, the first seat I could find was next to falak. A very big fifth grade girl. She's super friendly (thankfully) and makes my dad look like a quarkle bug.

Right On Its Tail

YIKES! The bus is about to take off.....runrunrunrunrun!!!! If I don't catch it here, its a looooong walk.

Hurry, Hurry, Hurry!

I didn't even have time to put my breakfast down. I just jumped across the living-room pond and ran straight for the door. All I could think is "hurryhurryhurryhUUURRY"!

UhOh.....THE BUS!!!

There I was, enjoying a bit of breakfast (monstro-butter hotcakes..mmm) when mom and I both heard a "THUD" come from outside. A sure sign that the bus is early and thats the end of my breakfast. Now its time to RrRUuUnNN!!! <=O

Happy Sunrise !

Wow! look at those suns this morning. The light from our superduper huge pink one is mixing with the blue of that close little one and is that ever a great sight to see first thing in the morning. What a fun day this is going to be.

Time For Some ZZZZZ's

The cotton moon next door sure looks extra bright tonight. Last time I was on that was during summer camp and wow was that fun. I wish it was closer so I could just use a bumper jumper to get there. Hopefully next summer we'll drift closer to it. In the meantime though, time for some sleep, because I think we have a quiz tomorrow at school.

Admiring the handywork

Dad sure was thoughtful to put the door up on my bed while I was outside with Regac and Eal. Just before I layed my head down, I spent a few minutes admiring the new doors artwork that we all created. Can't wait to put it up after school tomorrow.

Up To The Loft

Bouncing up my room has always been pretty fun, but I should really try to fly up here more or my wings won't get any stronger. Bad habit I know. I'll start tomorrow for sure. Meanwhile, while i'm saying this, I'm climbing up the rope ladder to my bed. Lol.

Off To Bed

Woohoo! My chores are done and I'm just headed up to my room to go to bed and after school tomorrow I get to finish the entrance to my new clubhouse. CAN'T WAIT!

After Dinner Clean Up

Yeeesh, well, we finished dinner and wow, Regac and Eal both must have known that I was on cleanup duty, because I think that every thing they were supposed to put in thier mouths, ended up on the walls. I even found three of them out in the back yard. They sure have talent. I can't believe these are the same two that helped me clean up the future clubhouse. I guess they needed to balance things out by going extra tweaky at dinner.

Messy Meal?...I hope not

Wow...this is still one of the heaviest meals we have. Tonight my parents planted a bowl of red Farumptus bouncers. They are really tasty but i'm always nervous when we have them, because Regac and Eal love to play with thier food and today is my day to clean up.

Evening Stroll

Just before we had dinner, I thought I'd take the little monsters out for a quick stroll around around the block. I love this way of travel, its the next best thing to flying.

Cleanup Time

Now that the door is ready, I brought Regac and Eal out to the branch to help sweep and clean up the future clubhouse. They sure like to clean. Although I think they just like to kick up all that dust, because I couldn't see a thing after a while.

Improving the Look

After dad and I unsuccessfully tried to do a fast paint job for the club door, we decided it may be better if we try again and this time, get everyone to do a little bit here and there. It sure seems to have worked and if not? it was a great time having everyone help out.

Painting Mishap

BleeeUCK! I asked my dad to help paint my new clubhouse door last night and he used his brush instead of one of mine. I started painting the handle when suddenly my dad took one stroke and lived up to his reputation for being a bit clumsy and messy....because he took one swipe and got the door plastered with paint....but also plastered me up against the garage wall. I can still smell and taste paint this morning. We'll try again tonight with smaller brushes. What a goofy guy he can be.

Great Spot For A Door

After getting some wood from down the street, I went back out to the branch after dinner (dad's monstro-burgers....mmmmm) and found the perfect spot for the new door. This is going to be one super-fun clubhouse for me and my friends.

Door Hunting

I went into the bushes down the road to find some wood that I can make the new clubhouse door from. Even though it was really dark as I went further in and smelled like wet fur, there was luckily still some light...but not from outside, from inside....six big glowing eyes.
I ran out of there super fast with the six eyes following me. It turned out her name is shqueakers and she is a really friendly kid who was visiting her cousin, but I couldn't tell that until I stopped running, because I was a little scared of those big teeth grinning at me. I thought I was lunch to her, not a new little buddy. Anyway, we looked for some wood together and found a great piece for the clubhouse. She promised to come by to see the new clubhouse the next time she visits.

Future Club House?

I took a break from my homework last night, climbed out of my rooms knot hole and onto the big branch just outside. I walked around watching all of the gafaggles flying by and then thought to myself, "Hmm...I think the end of this branch could be a really great spot for a clubhouse".

Talk about timing

I can't believe I forgot to mention this as my first post last week. Anyway, talk about perfect (ly crumbly) timing huh? Everyone was in the middle of singing me my birthday song, when BOTH my sisters lost thier first baby tooth. The song stopped and all the focus turned to the free teeth. It was fine though, the rest of the time was really fun and that cake was super, super yummy. I thought it was pretty funny afterwards, tee hee.

Sneaky Skunk/Fish

Welp, I went searching for that skunk fish after dinner last night and I really wish someone had told me that they can walk on land. I was poking around in the water and thought to myself..."where could that skunk/fish" be and I wonder what it looks like. Then I heard some bushes rustle behind me and found out not only what it looked like......but smelled like. Just so you know? it smelled like fresh cut grass and hot chocolate. Boy o boy was I nervous for nothing. Now I have to convince my parents to let me keep one. <=)

Skunk Fish

Two of our neighbors who live over the hill near my school drew a neato little fish and sent me the image. FryingPan is the one who drew it and told me that he saw one over in the pond by the corner near my school. I'm definatly going to see if I can find it. Hopefully it doesn't spray me with any of its smelliness. "PeW"!

Ground Bouncer Playoffs_Day_01

"New School Jitters"

This is a picture of me going to my new school. I was soooo nervous and that dragon ride to school was pretty gross because the bus must have had vegetables for breakfast. 'ew'

"Father / Daughter Quality Time"

Right near our tree house, there's this really great stream, and this spring, me and my dad went down to climb in the trees because the blossoms are out and wow is it pretty. I almost fell three times, but luckily my dad is a really good catcher. That whole tree smelled like one big butter berry. yummers

BACK AT IT!

It suuuure has been a while, but now that I'm settled into my job here at Electronic Arts in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, I thought it was about time I starting developing some new art for "The Monstons".

"Beware Of..."

This was the scariest thing ever. Our adventure teacher Mrs. Fuddles, said that whoever got the biggest gem from the cave next to the school, wouldn't have to do the last counting assignment of the year. We found the biggest one, but YIPES! we didn't expect that grumpy old Mr. Smeltenson was around. We got scared, dropped the gem andran out of there and our buddy oooza ended up winning the contest. Drats.

"Hide and Seek"

WOW! can Spiker ever hide! He's lucky he can change color, otherwise I would have found him super fast. HE's HUGE!

"Scavenger Hunt"

This is the last time I let my dad plan our day. He thought a scavenger hunt would be fun, but he didn't mention that getting that little purple egg would be so hard or that it belonged to a flossapede. It was so hard to try to out-fly that. My wings are STILL sore.
